## Description

### **Summary of the Role:**

The Planning Engineer will play a critical role in developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage progress, identify risks, and support decision-making across project phases.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
-   Monitor project progress and performance against planned schedules.
-   Identify potential delays and risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
-   Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to gather accurate progress data.
-   Prepare regular reports including progress updates, schedule analysis, and forecasts.
-   Conduct critical path analysis and provide recommendations to optimize timelines.
-   Support project management in resource planning and allocation.
-   Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and contractual obligations.
-   Assist in evaluating variations, claims, and extensions of time (EOT).

### **Requirements:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
-   Minimum **12 years of experience** in project planning and scheduling, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects.
-   Strong expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent.
-   Solid understanding of project controls, risk management, and construction workflows.
-   Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
-   Experience working on large-scale projects in the Middle East is an advantage.
-   Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
