# Program Aide - Community Centers > Harlem Children's Zone · New York, United States · Part-time · Posted 2026-07-14 **Salary:** USD 20–20 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** West Side Community Ctr ## Description **Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ)** — a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York — seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission-aligned **Program Aide** to support programming within our community centers: West Side Community Center and Geoffrey Canada Community Center. The Program Aide will bring a strong passion for Harlem Children’s Zone’s mission: to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through comprehensive, community-based programming that expands opportunities for families, and local residents to thrive in school, work, and life. The Program Aide will play a key role in supporting vibrant, engaging programming that serves children, youth, and community members beyond traditional after-school hours. This individual will work closely with Activity Specialists and Coordinators to assist in facilitating activities, preparing materials, and ensuring programs run smoothly. In addition, the Program Aide will help support special events, workshops, and community engagements that foster connection and participation across the center. We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable team player who brings energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to community. The ideal candidate enjoys working with diverse groups of children, families, and residents and is eager to contribute to a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment.
