**About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life**

This opportunity is designed for a Family Medicine physician with Surgical Obstetrics training or equivalent experience who wants to provide comprehensive care while maintaining a strong focus on women's health.

You'll care for patients across the lifespan, including adolescents, adults, and seniors, providing preventive care, routine examinations, screenings, diagnostic testing, and treatment. Your women's health practice will include prenatal and postpartum care, reproductive health, menstrual disorders, menopause management, contraception, and family planning.

Procedural work may include colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, Pap smears, IUD insertion and removal, biopsies, and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. For obstetric patients, you'll provide prenatal care and monitoring while collaborating with an OB hospitalist team to coordinate deliveries.

You'll work alongside midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and specialists to provide coordinated patient care.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**

-   Provide comprehensive Family Medicine and women's healthcare across the lifespan
-   Perform routine obstetric and gynecologic examinations, screenings, and diagnostic testing
-   Diagnose and manage reproductive health concerns, menstrual disorders, menopause symptoms, and other gynecologic conditions
-   Provide prenatal care, screenings, ultrasounds, and fetal development monitoring
-   Collaborate with the OB hospitalist team to coordinate deliveries
-   Provide postpartum care and address recovery, newborn, and breastfeeding concerns
-   Perform appropriate gynecologic procedures, including colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, Pap smears, IUD placement/removal, and biopsies
-   Provide minimally invasive gynecologic procedures and surgeries within the physician's scope and privileges
-   Counsel patients regarding contraception, family planning, preventive care, and reproductive health
-   Collaborate with midwives, APPs, nurses, physicians, and specialists
-   Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
-   Follow applicable healthcare regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines

**Required Qualifications**

-   MD or DO from an accredited medical school
-   Completed Family Medicine residency and BE/BC
-   OBGYN Fellowship training or equivalent experience
