### About the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions. You'll implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, educate patients throughout their recovery, and play an important role in helping them return to the activities they enjoy.

This position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working in an outpatient setting where teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence are at the center of everything we do.

### What You'll Do

-   Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
-   Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and rehabilitation programs
-   Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist
-   Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
-   Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress in the electronic medical record
-   Maintain clear communication with physicians, therapists, patients, and caregivers
-   Assist in creating a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
-   Support Physical Therapy Technicians and collaborate with the rehabilitation team
-   Follow all OSHA, infection control, and organizational policies
-   Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance

### Required Qualifications

-   Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
-   Current Arizona Physical Therapist Assistant license
-   Minimum of one year of outpatient physical therapy experience (preferred)
-   Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or ability to obtain)

### Knowledge & Skills

-   Understanding of outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation principles
-   Experience implementing therapeutic exercise and functional mobility programs
-   Knowledge of OSHA and infection prevention standards
-   Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
-   Strong critical thinking and clinical observation skills
-   Excellent interpersonal and patient education abilities
-   Ability to safely assist patients with transfers, mobility, and therapeutic activities
-   Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties throughout the day

## Requirements
