### About the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans that help patients recover from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders.

You'll play an important role in each patient's recovery by providing hands-on treatment, monitoring progress, educating patients on home exercise programs, and encouraging them throughout their rehabilitation journey.

### What You'll Do

-   Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
-   Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and rehabilitation activities
-   Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
-   Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies
-   Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record
-   Build positive relationships with patients, families, physicians, and fellow team members
-   Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient treatment environment
-   Assist with training and mentoring Physical Therapy Technicians
-   Follow OSHA, infection control, HIPAA, and organizational policies at all times
-   Contribute to a collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient outcomes

### Required Qualifications

-   Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
-   Current Arizona Physical Therapist Assistant license
-   Minimum of one year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
-   Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain

### Knowledge & Skills

-   Strong understanding of outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation principles
-   Experience implementing therapeutic exercise and functional treatment programs
-   Knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection prevention standards
-   Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
-   Strong clinical observation, critical thinking, and communication skills
-   Ability to safely assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic activities
-   Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of patient care

## Requirements
