**Job Title:** Caregiver / Direct Support Professional

**Location:** Gilbert, AZ

**Hours & Schedule:** Evenings 4 pm - 9 pm, Overnights 9 pm - 8 am, Weekends 8 am - 8 pm

**Work Environment:** Home Care settings

**Travel Required:** Minimal travel, but some as needed

**Salary / Hourly Rate:** $15.00 per hour

### Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional provides hands-on assistance and supervision to individuals with special needs during evening, overnight, and weekend hours. This role supports members with daily living activities, skill-building, and community engagement while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and overall well-being.

### Job Duties & Responsibilities:

-   Assist members with activities of daily living, including toileting and hygiene
-   Prepare simple meals and assist with cooking as needed
-   Perform light cleaning and maintain a safe environment
-   Facilitate activities such as crafts, games, and group participation
-   Accompany members on outings and community activities
-   Provide encouragement and positive support throughout the day
-   Follow care plans and safety guidelines consistently

### Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

-   Fingerprint Clearance Card (need to obtain within 90 days of hire)
-   CPR Certification (training assistance available)
-   First Aid Certification (training assistance available)
-   Article 9 Certification (training assistance available)
