## Description

At HEOR, we're passionate about helping healthcare stakeholders make informed decisions that improve patient outcomes. We're looking for a medical writer to join our value communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex scientific evidence into clear, engaging, and impactful communications that support market access and healthcare decision-making.

As a medical writer, you will contribute to the development of high-quality, evidence-based materials that help clients communicate the value of their therapies to internal and external stakeholders.

You'll work across a variety of therapy areas and projects, collaborating closely with health economists, systematic reviewers, analysts, and clients to produce scientific and strategic communications that make a real difference to patient access.

**Role and responsibilities:**

-   Developing a range of value communication materials, including:

-   Value and reimbursement dossiers
-   Value stories and objection handlers
-   Scientific reports
-   Publications, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts
-   Presentation and slide deck content

-   Taking ownership of assigned project deliverables from development through to completion
-   Synthesising and interpreting scientific, clinical, and health economic evidence
-   Ensuring all content is accurate, evidence-based, and aligned with client needs
-   Participating in client meetings and contributing to scientific discussions
-   Building strong working relationships with colleagues and clients
-   Contributing to a culture of continuous learning, quality, and innovation.

## Requirements

You may be an experienced medical writer, researcher, scientist, or healthcare professional looking to apply your scientific expertise in a dynamic consultancy environment.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

-   A PhD in a scientific or healthcare discipline;

-   or a BSc/MSc (2:1 or above) with relevant industry experience

-   Strong scientific writing and communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences
-   Experience developing scientific materials such as manuscripts, posters, presentations, publications, or grant applications
-   Excellent critical thinking and data interpretation skills
-   Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
-   A collaborative approach and the confidence to work across multiple projects simultaneously
-   Experience within medical communications, market access, HEOR, or consultancy environments would be advantageous.
