## Description

**At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers** we believe the toddler years are filled with exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and learning.  We are seeking a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator with extensive experience leading toddler classrooms.

 As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you have responsibility to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment utilizing the High Scope curriculum. With the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher, you will foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through hands-on play-based learning experiences, while building strong partnerships with families and mentoring staff.

  
**Position Details**:

-   Status: Regular, full-time
-   Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:15am-5:15pm)
-   Pay rate- $15-$20/hour (_based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education_)
-   Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI

## Requirements

-   CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, required
-   Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or a child-related field is preferred
-   A minimum of one year experience in a toddler classroom is required
-   CPR certification is required for all teaching staff, may be obtained within 30 days of hire
-   Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers
-   Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
