## Description

Are you a looking to start your career in a busy hotel kitchen? Can you think on your feet, work efficiently as a team and contribute towards our success with a can-do attitude? Then this Kitchen Assistant role at Sudima Christchurch Airport is for you!

_**This is a casual role paying $25 per hour.**_

**Responsibilities include**:

-   Washing and cleaning utensils and dishes
-   Washing, peeling, chopping and preparing food items
-   Sorting and disposing of rubbish and recycling
-   Cleaning food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
-   Following and enforcing strict health and hygiene standards

## Requirements

_**We are seeking a new team member with a great attitude. In addition to that, the following skills will see you succeed in this role:**_

-   Enjoy practical work with minimal supervision
-   Able to work in 7 day rotating roster
-   Can start as soon as possible
-   Good hand-eye coordination
-   Able to lift heavy pots etc
-   Team player
-   Able to work under pressure
