**About The Role - Te mahi**  

At Sudima Hotels, we are committed to delivering genuine hospitality through care, connection, and attention to detail. We are looking for Food & Beverage Attendants to join our Sudima Auckland City team and help create meaningful guest experiences across our outlets.

This role includes **evening and weekend shifts**, working across our venues, **Sunset rooftop bar** and **East Restaurant** as well as supporting in-room dining and events.

From vibrant rooftop service at Sunset to the refined dining experience at East **Selected in the MICHELIN Guide 2026, voted Auckland's Best Vegetarian Restaurant,** and home to one of **Auckland's Top 100 Iconic Eats with our signature Water Chestnut Wontons,** **EAST** has become one of Auckland's most exciting dining destinations, you will play a key role in bringing our guest experience to life.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar role, and a passion for exceeding guests expectations.

**This is a Part time (Minimum 10 hours per week) permanent role is based at Sudima Auckland City.**

**Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa**

-   Provide a warm, engaging, and professional welcome to all guests, creating genuine connections through thoughtful and caring service
-   Work collaboratively as a team, supporting one another to deliver exceptional service and a strong sense of community
-   Prepare the restaurant and service areas to a high standard, ensuring a well organised and sustainable approach to set up and resources
-   Seat guests, take accurate orders, and deliver attentive, high-quality service that consistently exceeds expectations
-   Manage internal and external phone enquiries, including coordinating and delivering in-room dining with efficiency and care
-   Settle guest accounts accurately, handling all transactions with integrity and attention to detail
-   Respond to guest feedback and concerns with empathy, ensuring positive resolution and timely follow-up
-   Maintain clean, organised service areas, supporting safe practices and mindful use of resources
-   Support the team in delivering seamless service across events, functions, and conferences as required

## Requirements

**About you | Ko koe tēnei**

-   Previous experience in hospitality or a customer facing role is preferred; however, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
-   High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain quality and consistency in a fast paced environment.
-   **Flexible and reliable, with availability to work a rotating roster across evenings, weekends, and public holidays.**
-   Ability to remain calm under pressure and go the extra mile to ensure a positive guest experience.
-   Physically capable of standing for extended periods and carrying service items as required.
-   A team player who contributes positively to a supportive and collaborative environment.
-   Candidates must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand to be considered for the role.
