## Description

**ABOUT HINT**

Back when we started Hint in 2005, our motto was Drink Water, Not Sugar. Our mission to this day is to help people fall in love with water — delicious fruit-infused water — so they can live healthier lives.

Twenty years on, we’ve attracted our share of imitators, but no one has been able to match that touch of true fruit flavor in every bottle of Hint. The craftsmanship we put into creating flavors that fully reflect their fruit origin is unparalleled. And with no sweeteners, no preservatives, and zero calories, it’s no wonder our fans have turned Hint into an obsession.

Today, Hint is sold in over 30,000 stores across the United States, with dozens of flavors available through drinkhint.com, Amazon, e-Retail accounts, and major retailers nationwide.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Hint is looking for an experienced, highly organized National Events & Partnerships Manager to bring the brand to life through memorable consumer experiences and strategic partnerships.

This role will own the planning and execution of Hint’s experiential marketing calendar, ranging from large-scale national events, festivals, sponsorships, and brand activations to smaller community events, influencer experiences (in cooperation with our Sr. Influencer Manager), retail moments, and product seeding opportunities.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional operator who loves making things happen. They can take an idea from brief through execution, managing vendors, budgets, production schedules, staffing, product, shipping, permits, run-of-show, and on-site execution while maintaining a high bar for the consumer experience.

This person will also identify and manage partnerships that expand Hint’s relevance and introduce the brand to new audiences. They are culturally curious, resourceful, comfortable negotiating with external partners, and equally willing to develop the strategy and roll up their sleeves on execution.

This is a remote position with occasional travel required for events, activations, and on-site execution.

**WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE**

**Events & Experiential Marketing**

- Own Hint’s annual events and experiential marketing calendar, ensuring activations ladder back to brand and business priorities.

- Lead planning and execution of events ranging from major national festivals, sponsorships, conferences, and consumer activations to intimate influencer, community, retail, and partner events.

- Manage events end-to-end, including concepts, timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, staffing, permits, insurance, product, shipping, production, run-of-show, and on-site execution.

- Partner with Creative to translate the Hint brand into distinctive, highly shareable consumer experiences.

- Develop scalable event concepts that can be adapted across markets, retailers, and cultural moments.

- Oversee sampling programs and identify opportunities to efficiently get Hint into the hands of new consumers.

- Create comprehensive event briefs, production schedules, staffing plans, and post-event recaps.

- Ensure all events are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high standard of execution.

- Align on clear KPIs and success metrics for events and partnerships, consistently working to meet or exceed targets while understanding how experiential programs ladder up to broader company objectives, including reaching new consumers, building brand awareness and consideration, supporting retail priorities, and ultimately driving sales.

**Partnerships & Sponsorships**

- Identify partnership opportunities that can expand Hint's awareness, cultural relevance, and consumer reach.

- Develop and manage relationships with brands, organizations, venues, events, and other strategic partners.

- Evaluate inbound sponsorship and partnership opportunities against Hint's brand strategy, audience, objectives, and expected return.

- Lead partnership negotiations, scopes of work, deliverables, timelines, and execution.

- Collaborate with influencer, social, PR, retail, e-commerce, sales, and creative teams to amplify partnerships across channels.

- Identify creative opportunities for Hint to participate in relevant cultural, wellness, lifestyle, entertainment, and community moments.

**Cross-Functional Leadership & Project Management**

- Serve as the internal point person for events and partnerships, maintaining clear timelines, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

- Manage experiential agencies, production companies, contractors, vendors, and other external partners.

- Own event and partnership budgets, estimates, purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliation.

- Communicate event plans clearly to internal stakeholders and ensure alignment well in advance of execution.

- Develop presentations and recaps that communicate plans, opportunities, results, and learnings.

## Requirements

**WHAT YOU BRING**

- 5–8+ years of relevant experience in experiential marketing, events, sponsorships, partnerships, or brand marketing.

- Demonstrated experience independently planning and executing events from concept through on-site production.

- Experience managing both large-scale events and smaller, high-touch experiences.

- Strong vendor management, negotiation, budgeting, and production skills.

- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate problems before they happen.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities can evolve quickly.

- A creative and resourceful mindset with a strong understanding of culture and consumer trends.

- Experience in CPG, beverage, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brands preferred.

- Experience managing agencies and external production partners preferred.

- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for events and activations.

**Most importantly:** You are someone who gets things done. You enjoy turning ambitious ideas into well-executed experiences and are equally comfortable developing a national activation plan, negotiating with a partner, building a production timeline, checking on a shipment, or jumping in on-site to make sure an event runs flawlessly.
