## Description

**About the Role:**

The Senior Accountant provides excellent customer service both internally with team members and externally with clients and vendors. The Senior Accountant is responsible for completing a wide variety of accounting, customer service, administrative, and other project and support-related tasks.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Assist with transactional accounting
-   Month-end close process and reporting
-   Oversight of administrative and accounting department employees
-   Assist with the preparation of consolidated financials
-   Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and cash management
-   Documentation of internal controls, policies, and procedures for audit
-   Customer and vendor management
-   Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax, and benefits
-   Perform additional functions and participate in special projects as needed

## Requirements

-   Property Management (Condo/HOA) experience strongly preferred. 

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA a plus
-   A minimum of 3 years of experience obtained through increasingly responsible positions within the accounting and finance function, some public accounting experience is preferred
-   Excellent GAAP accounting knowledge and consolidated financial statement preparation.
-   Experience developing cash forecasts, and financial and operating metrics
-   An ability to manage complex accounting and reporting systems and processes
-   Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect business actions with financial outcomes
-   Advanced knowledge of Excel, knowledge of automated financial and reporting systems, Microsoft Office products, and other tools commonly used by accounting and finance teams
-   Experience using NetSuite, QuickBooks, Buildium, and/or CINC is a plus
