# Senior Automation QA Engineer

OUR CLIENT – is a new company in Lithuania but is commercially backed by a well-established business abroad. It is a dynamic and innovative gaming company that's passionate about creating immersive and cutting-edge gaming experiences: “Our mission is to empower gaming companies with robust, efficient backend infrastructure that enhances gameplay and user experience.”

This is a **high-impact senior role** where the right person can shape the future of quality engineering, strengthen release confidence, and create major long-term value for the engineering organization. You will take ownership of backend automation and play a key role in shaping QA practices.

### **Responsibilities**

-   Extend and maintain Playwright-based end-to-end coverage;
-   Design and implement backend E2E and integration test suites in .NET;
-   Improve framework structure, reliability, and maintainability;
-   Help define automation strategy across UI, API, and backend layers;
-   Support CI/CD integration, result reporting, and coverage improvements;
-   Work closely with developers and product owners on quality risks and regression coverage;
-   Raise the overall maturity of automation practices and test architecture.

## Requirements

-   **5+ years in test automation;**
-   Strong **Playwright** experience with **TypeScript**;
-   Strong **.NET / xUnit automation experience**;
-   Experience with API, integration, and end-to-end testing;
-   Experience building or significantly improving automation frameworks;
-   Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills;
-   CI/CD awareness and practical test pipeline understanding.

**Nice to have**

-   Familiarity in Appium;
-   Contract testing;
-   Performance or load testing;
-   SignalR testing;
-   MongoDB-related testing;
-   Test reporting tools (Allure, ExtentReports);
-   Experience in regulated or operationally complex systems.
