**The role:**

The Senior Frontend Software Engineer designs, builds, and maintains complex, high-quality web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. The role also involves contributing to key architectural decisions, leading technical initiatives, and mentoring junior team members to drive excellence across the front-end development process. 

**Key Responsibilities:** 

-   Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React). 

-   Lead the design of frontend architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and high performance while following best practices and industry standards. 

-   Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 

-   Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality, consistency, and adherence to development standards. 

-   Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices, problem-solving, and professional development. 

-   Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability across devices and browsers. 

-   Develop and maintain unit and integration tests and troubleshoot issues when they arise. 

-   Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies, tools, and trends to continuously improve development practices. 

-   Work with design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency and reusability across projects. 

-   Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

## Requirements

**Experience:** 

-   5+ years in front-end development, delivering complex and scalable web applications. 

-   Strong background in designing, building, and maintaining modern web solutions with a strong user experience focus. 

-   Experience contributing to front-end architecture decisions around scalability, maintainability, and performance. 

-   Involvement in translating requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product, design, and backend teams. 

-   Experience conducting code reviews and supporting engineering quality across the codebase.

**Educational Background:** 

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. 

**Key Competencies:**

-   Strong frontend expertise in React, core frontend technologies, state management, tooling, and build systems.
-   Ability to build scalable, maintainable, high-performing, and user-focused web applications.
-   Solid knowledge of responsive development, API integration, testing, performance, SEO, accessibility, and reliability.
-   Experience with design systems, reusable components, and component libraries.
-   Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
-   Ownership, accountability, reliability, and commitment to high-quality delivery.
-   Clear communication and effective collaboration with product, design, backend, and cross-functional teams.
