## Description

**T-SEZ**, our accounting and business consulting firm based in **Peristeri, Attica**, is looking for a **Senior Accountant** for full-time employment, to manage and oversee the accounting cycle of a portfolio of businesses.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Maintaining single-entry and double-entry accounting records for a portfolio of clients
-   Recording accounting documents and performing reconciliations (banks, cash, customers, and suppliers)
-   Preparing and submitting tax filings, including **VAT, withholding taxes, VIES, Intrastat, municipal taxes, and income tax**
-   Monitoring and transmitting invoices through **myDATA**, resolving any discrepancies
-   Preparing financial statements and internal management reports
-   Managing statutory obligations related to **GEMI** and the **Bank of Greece**
-   Communicating with clients to collect documentation, provide updates, and offer accounting and tax support
-   Participating in advisory projects and **strategic tax planning**
-   Mentoring and supporting junior members of the accounting team
-   Monitoring changes in tax legislation and keeping the team informed

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree from a University or Technological Institute in **Accounting, Finance, or Economics**
-   Proven experience in a similar role within an accounting department or accounting firm
-   Strong knowledge of **accounting and tax procedures**
-   Experience with **ERP systems** and the **myDATA platform**
-   Good command of **MS Office**, especially **Excel**
-   Strong organizational skills, consistency, and attention to detail
-   Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
