**Job Role: Business Systems & AI Automation Specialist**

**Compensation range: $2,500 AUD - $3,500AUD / Monthly**

**Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement**

**Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.**

**Role Overview:** We're looking for a Business Systems & AI Automation Specialist to help build and scale our internal automation infrastructure across multiple business units. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating systems from the ground up, improving operational efficiency, and leveraging AI to solve real business challenges.

Working closely with our onshore AI Lead and core leadership team, you'll design and implement workflows, integrations, internal tools, and AI-powered solutions that support our growing operations. You'll also play a key role in documenting processes and creating scalable SOPs to support onboarding and operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:** 

-   Design, build, and maintain automated workflows across business platforms including HubSpot, Procore, Jonas Premier, and Deputy.
-   Develop and enhance internal tools using low-code/no-code platforms such as Make.com, Retool, Bubble, or similar technologies.
-   Build integrations between business systems using APIs and automation tools.
-   Deploy and maintain AI-powered workflows, chatbots, and process automation for both internal teams and customer-facing use.
-   Collaborate with the onshore AI Lead to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.
-   Create and maintain SOPs, workflow documentation, process maps, and training materials.
-   Develop onboarding processes and documentation to support new virtual assistants joining the business.
-   Continuously improve existing automations and identify opportunities to replace manual processes or third-party software with internal solutions.
-   Support multiple business units by delivering practical, scalable technology solutions.

## Requirements

-   3+ years of experience in business systems, automation, workflow design, or internal tooling.

-   Demonstrated experience building systems, workflows, or automation solutions from the ground up.
-   Strong experience with at least one of the following platforms: HubSpot, Procore or similar CRM or project management platforms
-   Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Make.com, Zapier, Retool, Bubble, or similar.
-   Experience integrating platforms using APIs and automation tools.
-   Practical experience using AI tools (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to improve business processes.
-   Experience deploying or managing AI chatbots or workflow automation.
-   Excellent documentation skills, including SOPs, process documentation, and training materials.
-   Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
-   Comfortable supporting multiple business units simultaneously.

**Nice to Have:**

-   Experience with Jonas Premier or Deputy.
-   Basic scripting skills using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
-   Experience within construction, property, engineering, or related industries.
-   Experience creating onboarding programs or managing virtual assistant workflows.
-   Familiarity with business process improvement or digital transformation initiatives.
