**Compensation range:** $2,000 AUD - $2,400 AUD / Monthly

**Engagement type:** Independent Contractor Agreement

**Work Schedule:** This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 8:45 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

**Who The Client Is:** They are a specialist recruitment partner focused on delivering responsive short-term staffing solutions across office and business support functions. With firsthand experience in fast-paced corporate environments, they understand the importance of speed, reliability, and fit in time-sensitive hiring. Their approach is considered and relationship-driven, prioritising quality matches that enable both clients and candidates to operate smoothly and confidently from day one.

**Role Overview:** This role sits within the company’s offshore recruitment and support team, working closely with the Australian-based recruitment team and leadership. It is responsible for managing an established temporary recruitment desk focused on business support and real estate roles across the Sydney metropolitan region, delivering end-to-end recruitment including candidate sourcing, client and candidate communication, temporary placements, and associated administrative and compliance tasks, while also supporting business development initiatives as required.

The role is suited to an experienced recruitment professional confident working with Australian stakeholders, with strong written and verbal English communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and comfort operating within an offshore team environment.

**Key Responsibilities:** 

Recruitment and Candidate Management

-   Conduct end-to-end recruitment activities including advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlisting, and reference checking candidates.
-   Support candidate compliance requirements, including right-to-work checks, visa validation, skills testing, and onboarding documentation.
-   Maintain regular communication with active, available, and prospective candidates.
-   Manage candidate availability lists, redeployment opportunities, and ongoing candidate care.
-   Assist with matching suitable candidates to temporary and contract vacancies.
-   Maintain a high level of candidate service and professionalism at all times.

Client Account Support and Placement Management

-   Support the management of existing client relationships and active temporary placements.
-   Take detailed job briefs from clients and internal team members.
-   Coordinate candidate submissions, interview scheduling, follow-ups, and placement confirmations.
-   Provide regular updates to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
-   Assist with post-placement care to ensure a positive client and candidate experience.
-   Handle client queries, issues, or concerns professionally and promptly, escalating matters where required.

Business Development Support

-   Identify and assist with pursuing new business opportunities with prospective clients.
-   Conduct outbound business development activity including cold calls, follow-ups, database marketing, and meeting setting.
-   Support the Australian team with client research, lead generation, and market mapping.
-   Assist with preparation of business development materials, proposals, tenders, or client presentations where required.
-   Participate in online meetings, networking activities, and relevant industry research as needed.

Administration, Systems and Compliance

-   Prepare and post job advertisements across designated job boards and platforms.
-   Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate, client, job, and placement records in the company CRM.
-   Assist with timesheet coordination, weekly payroll preparation, and client invoice support where required.
-   Ensure documentation and processes align with company procedures, Australian Fair Work requirements, Modern Awards, and internal compliance policies.
-   Support general recruitment administration and reporting as required.
-   Use internal systems and technology tools effectively, including Bullhorn, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, job boards, and online communication platforms.

Internal Collaboration and Contribution

-   Work closely with the Australian-based team and offshore team members to ensure smooth recruitment delivery.
-   Assist with content development, candidate marketing, database campaigns, and social media promotion where required.
-   Contribute to team training, process improvement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
-   Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, performance check-ins, and relevant internal events.
-   Represent the business professionally and contribute positively to the offshore team culture.

## Requirements

-   Minimum 3–5 years’ recruitment experience, ideally within temporary, contract, business support, administration, or real estate recruitment.
-   Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
-   Proficiency in recruitment CRM systems, preferably Bullhorn or similar platforms.
-   Proficient in recruitment platforms, job boards, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools.
-   Professional and confident phone manner with the ability to build rapport with candidates, clients, and stakeholders.
-   Strong attention to detail, with experience managing compliance, documentation, and CRM records accurately.
-   Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote and offshore team.
-   Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
-   Comfortable with outbound calling, candidate management, client follow-up, and recruitment administration.
-   **Must be based in Cebu, Philippines.**

**Preferred/Nice-to-Have:**

-   Experience supporting Australian clients or working with Australian businesses will be highly regarded.
-   Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI productivity tools is desirable.

**Work Arrangement & Expectations:**

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

-   Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
-   Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
-   Be ideally available to work from the company’s office in IT Park, Cebu, at least two days per week; the remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to business requirements and prior agreement.
-   Supports an Australian recruitment business, so working hours will be aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time. Standard working hours will generally be Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:30pm AEST, unless otherwise agreed. Flexibility may be required outside standard hours from time to time to meet urgent client, candidate, or placement needs.

**Independent Contractor Relationship:**

-   This is a contractor arrangement and does not create an employer-employee relationship.
-   The Contractor is responsible for managing their own tax, government contributions, statutory obligations, equipment, and any other contractor-related responsibilities, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-   The Contractor is expected to provide services in a professional, reliable, and timely manner in accordance with agreed business requirements, service standards, confidentiality obligations, and company processes.
