**Job Role:** E-Commerce Systems & Operations Manager - Part time

**Compensation range:** $1,200 AUD - $1,800 AUD / Monthly

**Engagement type:** Independent Contractor Agreement

**Work Schedule:** This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

**Who We Are:** At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

**Who The Client Is:** The company is an Australian sports nutrition and supplements brand selling direct to consumers online, with a growing wholesale and ambassador-driven distribution channel. The business is investing in its e-commerce foundations ahead of a major brand launch, including new ambassador partnerships and a build-out of a dedicated wholesale ordering platform for retail stockiest 

**Role Overview:** This role owns the day-to-day systems and operations that keep the online store running smoothly from Shopify storefront management through to inventory accuracy in Unleashed. You'll be the go-to person for keeping product, pricing, promotions, and stock data flowing correctly across every connected platform, and for identifying where the current setup can be modernised 

**Key Responsibilities:** 

-   Manage the Shopify platform end-to-end, including building out a dedicated B2B/wholesale ordering experience alongside the existing consumer store, and leading the broader site revamp.
-   Own product and inventory setup in Unleashed, ensuring new SKUs, stock levels, and campaign or discount codes created in Shopify flow through accurately so the warehouse can pick and pack orders without errors.
-   Maintain the platform's connected integrations Xero, Starshipit, and payment gateways keeping data and processes running smoothly across systems.
-   Bring an informed, up-to-date perspective on where AI and modern e-commerce tooling could improve the current setup, and help scope and guide any rebuild work

## Requirements

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

-   Strong hands-on experience with Shopify, including B2B/wholesale functionality, discounting, and campaign setup.
-   Solid working knowledge of Unleashed (or a comparable inventory management system) and how it connects to a storefront.
-   Comfortable working with APIs, payment gateways, and shipping platforms such as Starshipit.
-   Familiarity with Xero or a similar bookkeeping platform is a strong plus.
-   A proactive, systems-minded operator who can flag improvements rather than just maintain the status quo.
-   Nice to have: experience supporting social media content, paid ads, or SEO.
