**Who We Are:** At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

The firm manages a steady volume of claims and has built a strong reputation for delivering client-focused service and practical legal guidance across its region.

**Role Overview:** This is a newly created position for someone who loves technology, picks up new software quickly, and thrives when given a problem to solve independently. You will bring skills and expertise to implement and maintain AI tools, workflow automations and practice management.

You need to be genuinely curious, proactive, and comfortable building things using modern AI tools and no-code/low-code platforms.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Researching and evaluating AI tools applicable to legal practice operations (e.g. document automation, AI agents)
- Building and maintaining workflow automations using tools such as Make.com, Zapier or similar platforms
- Supporting integration and optimisation of ActionStep and NetDocuments
- Identifying inefficiencies in existing processes and proposing practical solutions
- Producing internal reports and dashboards to support practice management decisions
- Providing general technology support and troubleshooting across the team's software stack
- Managing ad hoc research and project coordination tasks assigned by the principal
- Supporting legal assistant functions during quiet periods (document preparation, file management, data entry)

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Strong initiative - you bring solutions, not just updates
- Demonstrable experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar) in a work context
- Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, n8n or equivalent)
- Familiarity with legal or professional services practice management software (ActionStep, NetDocuments, Clio or similar preferred)
- Solid English communication skills - written and verbal
- Background in IT, operations, legal administration or a related field
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously

**
Nice to Have**

- Experience working with Australian clients or in a legal/professional services environment
- Exposure to no-code app builders or API integrations
- Basic understanding of data privacy and document security practices

**Structure**

- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Hours aligned to Australian Western Standard Time (Perth, AWST / UTC+8)
- ICA engagement -  contractor invoices the firm directly

**
Work Arrangement & Expectations:**

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

- Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
- Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
