**Job Role:** Digital Marketing & Web Specialist

**Compensation range:** $2,500 - $3,200 AUD / Monthly

**Engagement type:** Independent Contractor Agreement

**Work Schedule:** This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

**Who We Are:** At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

**Who The Client Is:** The company is an Australian food brand that processes grain into premium popcorn products, sold across a range of retail and commercial formats. The business operates alongside its sister company, which processes grain for major snack food manufacturers. They are growing fast and building out their digital presence to match.

**Role Overview:** We are looking for a skilled Digital Marketing and Web Specialist to take ownership of our online presence across multiple brands. You will lead our SEO and GEO strategy, manage Google Ads campaigns, and build and maintain our websites. Our in-house marketing team handles creative assets, brand direction, and content you handle the technical and performance side.

This is a role with real scope to grow. As trust builds, you will have the opportunity to take on broader technical responsibilities across system integrations and business operations.

**Key Responsibilities:** 

SEO & GEO

-   Own and execute technical SEO strategy across multiple brand websites
-   Lead Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) initiatives to improve visibility in AI-driven
-   search
-   Conduct keyword research, site audits, on-page optimisation, and link building activities
-   Use tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar to monitor and report on
-   performance
-   Track rankings and organic traffic, providing regular reporting with clear insights

Google Ads & Paid Search

-   Set up, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across search and shopping
-   Monitor budget, bid strategy, and conversion performance
-   Collaborate with the local marketing team on ad copy and landing page direction

Website Build & Management

-   Build and maintain websites for Superpop and related brands (primarily WordPress and
-   Shopify)
-   Self-host websites on platforms such as Vultr or equivalent
-   Implement on-page SEO as part of the build process
-   Work with provided creative assets (images, copy, brand guidelines) to produce polished,
-   high-converting websites
-   Ensure forms, integrations, and technical functionality are working correctly
-   Maintain and update websites on an ongoing basis as the business evolves

Technical Integrations (Nice to Have)

-   Support integration of sales platforms with accounting and CRM systems
-   Assist with automation and workflow improvements as the business scales
-   Troubleshoot technical issues across digital tools and platforms

## Requirements

-   Minimum 3-5 years experience in SEO, including technical SEO
-   Demonstrated experience with GEO or AI-search optimisation
-   Hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns
-   Ability to build and manage websites in WordPress and/or Shopify
-   Strong understanding of website hosting and self-hosted environments
-   Proficient with SEO tooling (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent)
-   Excellent written and spoken English
-   Experience working with international clients, preferably Australian or UK-based
-   Autonomous and outcomes-focused
-   Comfortable working collaboratively with a remote in-house marketing team

Nice to Have

-   Experience with system integrations (sales platforms, accounting software, CRMs)
-   Familiarity with automation tools and workflow platforms
-   Background in e-commerce or FMCG brands
