**Job Role:** Video Editor - Wedding, Cinematic Commercial & Social

**Compensation range:** $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

**Engagement type:** Independent Contractor Agreement

**Work Schedule:** This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

**Who We Are:** At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

**Who The Client Is:** They are running several businesses focused on visual content, media, and personal branding. Their work includes producing content for special events as well as ongoing digital and social media projects. They are now looking to bring an experienced video editor into the team on a dedicated basis to support the growing volume of content.

**Role Overview:** We are looking for a dedicated full-time Video Editor to support a range of video projects across the business. You will work on both long-form and short-form content, with a strong focus on event and wedding footage, while also supporting ongoing social media and personal branding content, as well as the occasional commercial cinematic job.

**Key Responsibilities:** 

-   Edit long-form and highlight-style event and wedding videos.
-   Create engaging short-form video content for social media.
-   Work across different types of video projects and content styles.
-   Organise and manage multiple editing projects and deadlines.
-   Apply strong storytelling, pacing, music, transitions, colour and audio sound design.
-   Take direction and feedback and make revisions as required.
-   Help work through an existing backlog while maintaining a consistent editing workflow.
-   Deliver polished, client-ready videos to a high standard.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience editing wedding or event videos.
-   Strong experience with both long-form and short-form video editing.
-   Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing and visual flow.
-   Strong attention to detail and a good eye for quality.
-   Proficiency in **DaVinci Resolve** for professional video editing (CRUCIAL)
-   Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
-   Strong portfolio demonstrating both long-form and short-form editing work.
