**Job Role:** Revenue Operations & AI Automation Specialist - Zoho CRM / Sales Enablement

**Compensation range:** $2,500 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly

E**ngagement type:** Independent Contractor Agreement

**Work Schedule:** This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

**Who The Client Is:** Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of specialized industrial products designed to support infrastructure, construction, and engineering projects. Their product range focuses on high-performance, custom-engineered solutions that enhance safety, durability, and operational efficiency across a variety of commercial and industrial applications.

**Role Overview:** We are seeking a Revenue Operations & AI Automation Specialist to help us turn Zoho CRM into a cleaner, smarter, more useful sales operating system. This is not a generic admin role and not a pure developer role. The right person understands sales operations, CRM process design, Zoho automation, and practical AI tools well enough to improve how our team works every day. If the person proves capable, there may later be an opportunity to support additional automation work across our wider portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities:**

You will help build and maintain the sales enablement layer across the company’s Zoho CRM and related tools. Specifically:

**Automation & AI Enablement (60% of your time)**

-   Build and maintain useful automations inside Zoho CRM, Zoho Flow, Zoho ZMA 2.0, Zoho Forms, and related Zoho tools
-   Use Zoho Zia Agents where they genuinely improve sales follow-up, lead routing, coaching, data enrichment, or admin reduction
-   Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Codex, or similar to improve internal workflows, not just create novelty demos
-   Work with existing automation and AI systems safely, including documenting workflows before changes go live
-   Help create AI-assisted workflows for lead qualification, call-note summaries, quoting support, next-action suggestions, quote follow-up prompts, and sales coaching
-   Flag automation risks before they become operational problems

**Zoho CRM & Sales Operations (20% of your time)**

-   Clean, structure, and maintain Zoho CRM data so the sales team can trust what they see
-   Improve lead stages, deal stages, follow-up tasks, tags, fields, views, and reporting
-   Identify where leads are being dropped, delayed, duplicated, or poorly followed up
-   Build clear workflows for inbound lead handling, sales follow-up, quote reminders, and pipeline visibility
-   Support the sales team with daily CRM discipline and process adoption
-   Create simple dashboards and reports that show what needs attention without founder involvement

**Documentation & Training (20% of your time)**

-   Document every workflow you build in plain English
-   Create SOPs that future team members can actually follow
-   Train Team Members on CRM hygiene, daily workflows, follow-up discipline, and how to use and develop AI-assisted tools correctly
-   Produce weekly updates showing what was built, what changed, what is blocked, and what result it is expected to create

**Who You Are:**

This is not a role for someone who only knows how to click around inside a CRM. It is also not a role for someone who wants to experiment with AI without commercial outcomes.

You must be a practical builder who can understand a sales process end to end and turn it into a clean workflow, automate the repetitive parts, and train the team to use it.

## Requirements

-   Minimum 2 years' experience in RevOps, sales operations, CRM administration, automation, or a closely related role

-   Strong working experience with Zoho CRM
-   Experience building workflows, automations, dashboards, reports, or sales process improvements inside CRM systems
-   Comfortable working with sales teams, sales managers, and non-technical operators
-   Can show examples of systems you improved, not just tools you used
-   Strong working experience with AI Agents deployment

**Technical Skills (Non-negotiable)**

-   Zoho CRM administration: fields, layouts, modules, views, stages, tasks, automations, reporting
-   Zoho Flow or similar automation tool experience
-   Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, CRM integrations, and data movement between tools
-   AI-forward operator: actively uses AI Tools and Agents in daily work
-   Ability to use AI for workflow design, documentation, QA, research, summarization, and process improvement
-   Can troubleshoot issues without needing constant IT handholding

**Strong Nice-to-Haves**

-   Zoho Deluge experience
-   Zoho Zia Agents or Zia automation experience
-   Zoho Analytics, Zoho ZMA 2.0, Zoho Forms, or Zoho Desk experience
-   Experience in B2B sales operations, home services, trades, construction, building products, or field services
-   Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Codex, Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom automation workflows
-   Experience training sales reps or admin staff on CRM usage
-   Basic Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, or e-commerce automation exposure
