You've built a solid foundation in HVAC engineering. Now you're ready to take it further. 

At **Hysopt**, you'll combine your technical expertise with powerful simulation software to make HVAC systems smarter, more efficient and more sustainable. With growing demand for our HVAC software, we're looking for an **Energy Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC experience** to join our team.  

  

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**

**First, you'll put your technical expertise to work:**

-   **Assist our clients to optimise their HVAC installations** and heat network projects, for both new construction and renovation projects. 

-   Analyse existing energy systems, identify inefficiencies, and develop smarter, more energy-efficient solutions. 

-   Get hands-on with the **Hysopt software**, supported by experienced colleagues who'll help you become an expert. 

-   Visit **(international) client sites** to understand installations first-hand and translate them into accurate simulation models. 

-   Model existing systems, evaluate different optimisation scenarios, and turn technical insights into actionable recommendations. 

-   As part of the Hysopt Expert Centre, be among the **first to test new software features** on real projects, before they roll out to our external user base. 

  

**As you grow into the role, so does your impact:**

-   Take ownership of projects from kick-off to **presenting your results directly to the client**, becoming the technical expert clients rely on. 

-   Become a client's **day-to-day technical point of contact**, helping them understand HVAC concepts, get the most out of Hysopt and apply your recommendations. 

-   Partner with our Customer Success team to help clients unlock the full value of our software. 

-   Share your expertise by **delivering training** sessions to new Hysopt users, online or on-site, once you're confident in the software and ready to share that expertise with others. 

-   Occasionally support pre-sales demos for prospective customers. 

  

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**

-   **3-5 years of hands-on experience** in HVAC and/or heat network design, engineering, or consultancy. 

-   **Master's degree in Engineering** (Energy, Electromechanics, HVAC or similar), or equivalent through experience. 

-   Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems and heat networks and the ability to spot opportunities for better performance. 

-   A natural curiosity for technology and the motivation to master new software. 

-   **Customer-focused mindset**: you enjoy contact with clients and are comfortable being the technical face of a project, once you're up to speed. 

-   The ability to juggle multiple projects, set priorities and keep things moving. 

-   **Strong communication skills**, and the confidence to explain technical concepts clearly. 

-   Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
