**IBMC** is assisting a client in hiring a dynamic commercial pioneer. Our client engaged in a premium ceremonial cacao brand rooted in Indonesia. Working directly with family farmers in Flores, they produces exceptional ceremonial cacao with total traceability from tree to cup. Our mission is to establish ceremonial cacao as a premium, intentional drink experience across luxury cafés, restaurants, wellness sanctuaries, and lifestyle spaces. As we scale our distribution footprint across Bali, we are seeking a passionate storyteller to lead our on-the-ground activation strategy.

We are looking for an extraordinarily outgoing, high-energy **Event & Retail Activation Lead** based in Bali. Your core mission is to introduce tourists, expats, and lifestyle partners to ceremonial cacao through high-frequency tasting activations and field sales. This unique role combines **brand representation, direct sales, community engagement, and field operations**. You will spend most of your time on the move, visiting premium venues across Bali’s key hubs, running interactive cacao tastings, and turning connections into commercial revenue.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Execute High-Frequency Activations:** Organize, set up, and host active cacao tasting stations at high-traffic location hubs (e.g., Zest, Alchemy), yoga studios, community markets, and lifestyle boutiques.
-   **Drive Direct Field Sales:** Take absolute ownership of weekly units sold and injected revenue targets. Proactively approach potential clients, optimize conversion wordings, and confidently nudge buying behavior.
-   **B2B Partnership Development:** Convert visited locations into official wholesale partners that stock retail boxes, feature ceremonial cacao on their menus, or offer it directly to their wellness communities.
-   **Brand Ambassadorship:** Act as the face of our client in Bali by passionately telling the brand story, explaining origin/fermentation parameters, and creating a welcoming, premium sensory experience.
-   **Pipeline Sourcing & Governance:** Maintain meticulous tracking of all visited locations, tasting metrics, qualified retail leads, and menu placement opportunities to support regional team follow-ups.

**What Success Looks Like (Weekly Targets)**

-   5 Experiential tasting activations successfully executed.
-   3 Qualified retail leads generated.
-   2 Café menu/partnership opportunities secured.
-   1 New brand partner successfully onboarded.

## Requirements

-   **Location:** Must be permanently based or residing in **Bali, Indonesia**.
-   **Language Mastery:** Fully fluent in **English** with excellent verbal presentation skills (mandatory for targeting the expat and tourist demographic). Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is a strong plus.
-   **Personality Profile:** Extremely outgoing, charismatic, and genuinely thrives when starting conversations and pitching products to strangers.
-   **Mobility:** Possession of reliable transport and full willingness to travel frequently across Bali’s major wellness hubs (**Canggu, Ubud, Uluwatu, and Seminyak**).
-   **Interests:** Deep alignment or keen interest in specialty food, coffee culture, hospitality, or the wellness industry.
-   **Core Traits:** Organized, reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently without constant desk supervision.
-   _Experience in hospitality, specialty coffee, high-end retail, event management, or brand activation is a major plus but not mandatory._
