## Description

We are seeking a skilled and autonomous **Systems & Infrastructure Engineer** to join our team for a long-term freelance collaboration. In this role, you will manage, troubleshoot, and optimize our core infrastructure, ensuring high availability, robust security compliance, and seamless operational continuity.

### Role Details

-   **Position:** Systems & Infrastructure Engineer (Freelance / Contract)
-   **Time Commitment:** ~100 hours per month (Flexible schedule / Part-time)
-   **Experience Required:** Minimum 4 years of proven experience in similar roles
-   **Compensation:** $40 - $55 USD / hour (Depending on experience)
-   **Location:** Internationale Parkway, Woodridge, IL
-   **Schedule:** Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

## Requirements

-   **Virtualization:** Solid experience managing and configuring virtualized environments.
-   **Windows Ecosystem:** Strong expertise in Windows Operating Systems for both workstations and servers.
-   **ITSM Tools:** Hands-on experience with **ServiceNow** (specifically handling incident, change, and request management).
-   **Directory & Patch Management:** Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft WSUS.
-   **Networking & Security:** Proven experience in the administration and troubleshooting of networks and firewalls.
-   **Data Transfer:** Familiarity with professional file transfer software and secure data systems.
-   **Vulnerability Management:** Practical awareness and experience in vulnerability identification, management, and remediation.
-   Experience working with the **Closed Loop Framework** and its associated compliance requirements.
-   Background or familiarity with infrastructure support within **manufacturing or production operations** environments.
