# Ideas Forward Careers

We build and back ventures that transform cutting-edge ICT into market innovation. Working with organisations large and small we operate as R&amp;D partners, technology consultants, startup co-founders and co-investors.</p><p>Our daily work consists of building technology and building business ventures.</p><ul>
<li>In our <a href="https://www.ideasforward.com/what-we-do/curiosity-lab/" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external">Curiosity Lab</a>, we explore the limits and possibilities of frontier technologies in computing &amp; communications, applying them to challenges of sustainability, mobility and well-being. Our focus is IoT systems, blockchain networks and cloud infrastructures.</li>
<li>In our <a href="https://www.ideasforward.com/what-we-do/opportunity-lab/" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external">Opportunity Lab,</a> we back early-stage startups joining as technical or business co-founders. We provide operational support in business model discovery, product strategy, technology development and fundraising. We also invest at the pre-seed stage, bringing in business angels from our network to co-invest.</li>

We believe entrepreneurship can be a force of positive change in the world, by unlocking innovation with major social and environmental impact.
