# Marketing Executive (Ecommerce & Product Insights)

## Description

Detail-oriented Marketing Executive to support our Shopify-based ecommerce operations for RDX Sports, which is our Combat Sports Brand. This role is focused on **sales analysis, product insights, and market research**, helping translate data into actionable decisions that improve product performance and drive revenue.

You will work closely with the marketing and ecommerce teams to **analyze performance, identify trends, and support product and campaign decisions** through structured insights

### **Key Responsibilities**

### **1\. Ecommerce & Product Performance Analysis**

●     Reviewing Website Sections for aligning with the new DTC vision for the website.

●     Analyze Shopify sales data to identify:

○     Top-performing and underperforming products

○     Category-level trends (e.g., gloves, wraps, accessories)

●     Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance

●     Support pricing, bundling, and promotional decisions with data

●     Assist in aligning inventory with product demand

### **2\. Reporting & Excel Analysis**

●     Build and maintain structured reports using Excel (pivot tables, filters, formulas)

●     Prepare weekly performance reports covering:

○     Revenue trends

○     Product-level performance

○     Key changes and anomalies

●     Clean and organize raw data for decision-making

### **3\. Product Research & Market Intelligence**

●     Conduct structured product research across:

○     Competitor websites and ecommerce stores

○     Marketplaces (e.g., Amazon)

○     Online platforms such as Reddit, forums, and YouTube

●     Identify:

○     Emerging product trends

○     Customer pain points and feedback

○     Gaps in competitor offerings

●     Analyze competitor products in terms of pricing, features, and positioning

### **4\. Insight Development & Recommendations**

●     Translate research and data into clear, actionable insights

●     Provide recommendations on:

○     Product improvements

○     New product opportunities

○     Bundling and pricing strategies

●     Ensure all insights are tied to business impact (revenue, conversion, demand)

### **5\. Marketing & Ecommerce Support**

●     Support campaign analysis (basic performance review)

●     Assist with product launches through research and data inputs

●     Help identify opportunities to improve conversion and average order value

### **Success Metrics (First 90 Days)**

●     Independently produce weekly product level sales and product performance reports along with recommendations of Products to be pushed

●     Identify consistent product-level insights and opportunities

●     Deliver structured weekly research reports with clear recommendations

●     Improve visibility on product performance and market trends for decision-making

### **Role Scope**

This role is focused on **analysis, research, and execution support**. It does not include ownership of brand strategy, creative direction, or performance marketing.

## Requirements

-   BBA from a top University, ideally with a major in Marketing.
-   2+ Years of Ecommerce Marketing Experience.
-   Shopify Dashboard Expertise.
-   Ecommerce Marketing Background.
-   Knowledge of the Combat Sports is strongly preferred.
-   Exposure to AI tools like Claude, Higgsfield etc. will be a huge plus
