## Description

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian nationals for the position below at the Institute’s Headquarters in Ibadan.

**Position:        Senior Hygiene Technician**

**Contract:**       2-years renewable contract                                            

**Location: Ibadan**

**Closing Date: 14 July 2026**

**DUTIES:** 

-   Maintain and report on the stocks of cleaning supplies.
-   Maintain and monitor the cleanliness of the offices, classrooms and student bathrooms.
-   Maintain a high standard within the hygiene technicians, including rotations and standards of work.
-   Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

## Requirements

**QUALIFICATION:**

National Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

**COMPETENCIES:**

The ideal candidate must have:

-   Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, environmental health, and infection prevention standards.
-   Committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene control and quality assurance.
-   Skilled in inspection, monitoring, and reporting of hygiene and sanitation activities.
-   Experienced in supervising cleaning operations while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
