We are now looking for a talented **Senior Backend & Cybersecurity Integration Developer** to join our internal team.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Design and development of backend services and microservices for cybersecurity applications
-   Development of REST APIs and event-driven interfaces between SIEM, SOAR, AI/ML and external systems
-   Integration with SIEM platforms, including security-event ingestion, parsing, normalization, enrichment and incident interfaces
-   Integration with SOAR platforms, including incidents/cases, playbooks, response workflows and enforcement connectors
-   Implementation of the Cyber Incident Package (CIP) interface between the security analytics and response domains
-   Implementation of response and enforcement APIs for network, IAM, security and platform controls
-   Development of services supporting incident management, response orchestration, execution tracking and response verification
-   Integration of AI/ML analytical outputs such as anomaly scores, behavioral indicators, threat classifications and confidence scores into operational workflows
-   Implementation of secure service-to-service communication, authentication, authorization and audit mechanisms
-   Development of connectors/adapters for heterogeneous cybersecurity and infrastructure systems
-   Contribution to system architecture, API specifications, data models, automated testing, integration testing and technical documentation
-   Collaboration with cybersecurity engineers, AI/ML engineers, system architects and other European project partners

## Requirements

-   Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field

-   At least 4 years of Java/Spring boot development experience
-   Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
-   Experience with microservices and distributed systems
-   Good understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging
-   Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
-   Experience with Docker and Linux environments
-   Familiarity with authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and PKI/certificates
-   Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including security events, alerts, incidents, logs, network security and access control
-   Good written and spoken English

**Experience in one or more of the following areas will be considered a strong advantage:**

-   SIEM technologies
-   SOAR platforms and security orchestration/playbook development
-   Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalent messaging/event-streaming technologies
-   Elasticsearch / OpenSearch
-   IDS/IPS/NDR technologies and integration with security telemetry
-   Threat Intelligence and standards such as STIX/TAXII
-   Cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
-   Integration with IAM, firewall, network-management or endpoint-security APIs
-   Kubernetes
-   DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
-   AI/ML integration in production systems
-   Defence, C4ISR, mission-critical or EU research projects
