## Description

Inbox Business Technologies is seeking an experienced **PreSales Lead – Central Region** to lead Storage and Virtualization presales engagements and support business growth across the Central region. The role will act as a key bridge between **Sales, OEMs, Solution Design, and Delivery teams**, with ownership of technical solutioning, RFP responses, BOQ/BOM validation, OEM compliance, customer demonstrations, and presales coordination.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise across **enterprise storage, virtualization, and data center technologies**, combined with the stakeholder management and communication capabilities required to lead complex enterprise and FSI engagements.

### Responsibilities

-   Lead **Storage and Virtualization presales engagements** in support of the Unit Head Sales – Central.
-   Lead technical preparation, mapping, and coordination for **RFPs and customer requirements**.
-   Own the preparation and submission of **technical proposals** in response to customer RFPs.
-   Ensure completeness and accuracy of proposed **solution designs, BOQs, and BOMs** against customer requirements.
-   Ensure completeness and validity of **OEM technical compliances**.
-   Act as the primary Presales POC for coordination with relevant **OEMs and technology partners**.
-   Design and dimension enterprise **storage and virtualization solutions** based on customer requirements.
-   Prepare and lead **technical demonstrations and solution presentations** for customer technical teams.
-   Coordinate with implementation and sustenance teams on **SOW, solution design, BOQ/BOM, and technical requirements** throughout the project lifecycle.
-   Work closely with Sales, Design, and Delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and aligned with customer requirements.
-   Support solution discussions and technical engagements with **enterprise and FSI customers**.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent**.
-   Professional **Level 2 or above Storage and/or Virtualization certifications**; networking certifications
-   Minimum **8 years of relevant experience** in enterprise infrastructure, solution design, presales, storage, virtualization, or related technologies.
-   Technical proficiency with storage solutions from at least one major OEM such as **Huawei, Dell EMC, IBM, HPE, NetApp, or equivalent**.
-   Strong ability to **dimension, design, and commission enterprise storage solutions**, particularly for enterprise and FSI environments.
-   Experience planning and executing **online and offline data migrations** across heterogeneous storage environments.
-   Strong understanding of **block, file, object, and unified storage** architectures.
-   Experience designing and implementing **synchronous and asynchronous storage replication** solutions.
-   Knowledge of **FC and iSCSI-based storage networks**.
-   Strong understanding of storage features including **snapshots, clones, deduplication, and related technologies**.
-   Ability to design and implement data center virtualization solutions using at least one major **KVM/ESXi-based platform**, such as VMware, RHV, OLVM, Huawei FusionSphere, H3C CAS, or equivalent.
-   Understanding of **V2V and P2V migrations, VM templates, snapshots, VM networking, DRS, fencing, and cloud-init**.
-   Understanding of API integrations between virtualization management platforms and native or third-party backup solutions.
-   Good understanding of **PCI passthrough, SR-IOV, GPU virtualization, and direct-LUN/shared-disk mechanisms and limitations**.
-   Strong understanding of **L2/L3 networking, network topologies, firewall policies, and L3/L4/L7 load balancing**.
-   Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.

### Nice-to-have Skills

-   Proficiency with **Linux and Bash scripting**.
-   Implementation experience with **HCI solutions**.
-   Familiarity with **Ceph SDS and ZFS**.
-   Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as **Veeam, Veritas, or equivalent**.
-   Familiarity with **Kubernetes and OpenStack**.
-   Understanding of **hyperscaler cloud offerings**.
