**What You Will Do**

The Talent Acquisition Specialist position assists with administration of day-to-day human resources operations. This position has ownership of talent acquisition including recruitment, requisition management, job post administration, and administration of pre-boarding tasks, including background and reference checks and coordinating new hire orientation. In addition to direct recruitment, this role will support other projects or implementations on the Human Resources team.

**The Opportunity**

-   Assists with researching, gathering and analyzing data (job framework, role level, title, salary data, budget, FLSA status) to prepare and route and submit position requisition forms for approval.
-   Initiates and manages job position postings within IHI’s applicant tracking system (ATS) and third-party job boards.
-   Provides sourcing that builds a robust and consistent talent pool to source both active and passive candidates.
-   Collaborates with the HR team to devise new and improved recruitment strategies and effectively implements them.
-   Carefully reviews applicants, identifying the most qualified for further consideration by the Human Resource Generalists.
-   Leads candidate interview scheduling on behalf of Human Resource Generalists and hiring managers.
-   Coordinates job offers and offer letter generation which may include guiding managers through the offer stage.
-   Responsible for timely and accurately processing pre-hire verifications, including but not limited to, criminal background search, employment verification, education verification and reference checks, credentials, etc.
-   Assist with phone screens and candidate interviews.
-   Serves as co-collaborator in organizing new hire orientation. 
-   Ownership of the PALS (Peers Achieving Lasting Success) program for new hires and other employee engagement activities, as requested.
-   Participates in and/or directs departmental projects.
-   Establishes and maintains personnel files as required by law.
-   Represent IHI in recruitment forums (e.g. job fairs, panels, etc.)

This position is designed to be a hybrid role, splitting time between the IHI office in Indianapolis, IN and home.

## Requirements

-   Minimum Bachelor's degree, ideally in human resources, business administration, or related field. Equivalent combination of experience, training, and experience may be considered.
-   Minimum 3 years of related talent acquisition experience in a healthcare environment. Direct experience in recruitment of clinical staff highly preferred.
-   Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations required.
-   Knowledge of ATS (applicant tracking system) and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software required. Experience with Workable ATS and ADP HRIS preferred.
-   Knowledge of third-party recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed preferred.
-   Valid driver’s license and insured automobile required
-   All IHI employees are expected to enable multi-factor authentication via their personal smart phone/smart device in order to access IHI systems as a requirement of the role.
