As part of a recently awarded ticketing project, Indra has a requirement for a **Finance Administrator** to play a key role in the financial management of the NGT Fixed Assets and the establishment of robust financial governance and control and to provide strategic financial insights to senior management and project stakeholders.

Reporting directly to the Indra Ireland Senior Financial Accountant.

This role of the **Finance Administrator** is crucial for financial administration support to the finance team and wider business. Initially, this role will have a strong focus on LEAP transaction reporting and supporting the fixed asset accountant, however as the business and programme mature, the role will evolve to offer broader exposure across financial reporting, business partnering, project accounting, process improvement, and wider finance activities, providing excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression

The **Finance Administrator** shall have responsibility & accountability for (including but not limited to) the below:

**Month-End and Reporting Support**

-   Assist with month-end closing activities.
-   Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules.
-   Support finance managers with reporting packs and analysis.
-   Financial transaction reporting and discrepancy investigation

**Fixed Assets & Project Support**

-   Support the maintenance of the fixed asset register and supporting records.
-   Maintain documentation relating to project expenditure and capital investments.
-   Policy and Procedure writing assistance

**Financial Controls & Compliance**

-   Maintain accurate audit trails and supporting documentation.
-   Support internal and external audit requests.
-   Assist with compliance activities relating to procurement and supplier management.

**Systems & Administration**

-   Maintain finance system data and supplier records.
-   Assist with system improvements and process efficiencies.
-   Produce regular reports and data extracts as required.
-   Support wider finance team administrative activities.

## Requirements

The role requires the individual to have demonstratable experience across fixed assets, change control, incident management and exception management

**Essential requirements**

-   Previous experience in a finance administration, accounts assistant, or finance support role.
-   Understanding of basic accounting principles.
-   Experience performing reconciliations.
-   Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
-   Experience working with financial systems or ERP platforms.
-   Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

**Desirable attributes**

-   Experience within transport, infrastructure, construction, engineering, or project-based organisations.
-   Experience maintaining fixed asset records.
-   Understanding of project accounting concepts.
-   Working towards an AAT qualification or similar
-   Experience using BI
