# Senior Application Engineer (Malaysia)

## Description

-   Be the technical expert of InsiderSecurity solutions for our users.
-   Achieve customer success by understanding user requirements and supporting users to achieve strong cybersecurity with our solutions.
-   Advise customers on the deployment architecture and best practices for our products.
-   Deploy and configure our solutions in customer data centers or cloud environments.
-   Develop and configure use cases to meet user's needs.
-   Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
-   Support the sales team by conducting technical sales demos and answering technical inquiries during sales.
-   Serve as the interface between users and our product engineering teams. This is an excellent role to gain experience and insight into the cybersecurity industry.
-   Guide junior application engineers on technical matters.

## Requirements

-   At least 3 years experience in system administration, cloud administration or IT networking.
-   Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-   Experienced with system and cloud administration (e.g., Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes).
-   Experienced with networking.
-   Experienced with Python or other high-level programming languages.
-   Familiarity with Bash scripting.
-   Familiarity with database administration and SQL is a plus.
-   Prior experience as an application field engineer or a customer success engineer is an advantage.
-   Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
-   Good communication and presentation skills.
-   Ability to excel in a collaborative team setting.
-   Must be a Malaysia resident.
