Recognized on the Inc. 5000 and Fast 50 lists, Insight Assurance is one of the fastest-growing global audit firms, with 170+ professionals supporting nearly 2,000 clients across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. **The Role** A hands-on, seasoned Controller who owns accounting, consolidated reporting and FP&A execution, manages our external auditors, and uses AI to build a modern, efficient finance function. **What You Will Do** _**Accounting & Reporting**_ - Own the monthly close, delivering accurate, review-ready GAAP financials. - Own revenue recognition, invoicing, AR/AP, payroll accounting and departmental allocations. - Prepare consolidated financial statements, including our Panama entity: intercompany eliminations, FX and transfer pricing support. - Manage the annual external audit: PBC lists, auditor relationship, and timely, clean opinions. - Coordinate tax support with outside CPAs and maintain strong internal controls. _**FP&A**_ - Build and own the annual budget and rolling forecast models. - Deliver monthly variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and KPI dashboards (margin, utilization, revenue by service line). - Prepare board and investor reporting packages for CFO review. - Support pricing, hiring and cash flow planning with clear financial analysis. _**Systems, AI & M&A**_ - Own our accounting systems and integrations (HubSpot, Ramp, Deel), and continuously improve finance processes. - Use AI tools (Grok, Claude) to automate the close, reconciliations, reporting and analysis, and champion AI adoption in finance. - Support M&A diligence, integration and post-close accounting. - Build scalable processes and, over time, a small finance team. ## Requirements - CPA preferred; bachelor's in Accounting or Finance. - 8+ years of experience, including 3+ as Controller or Assistant Controller, ideally in professional services. - Multi-entity consolidation experience, including international subsidiaries and intercompany eliminations. - Strong accounting software experience, especially NetSuite and QuickBooks Online. - Strong ASC 606 revenue recognition for services and project-based billing. - Experience managing external audits; Big Four or national firm background a plus. - Proven FP&A skills: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and advanced Excel modeling. - AI-fluent: practical, hands-on use of Grok and Claude to improve speed and accuracy. - M&A diligence or integration exposure, and PE-backed or high-growth experience, a plus. ## Benefits - Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) - Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) - Paid Time Off (Vacation & Public Holidays) - Training & Development - Work From Home **Privacy Notice CCPA** - Insight Assurance shares your personal data/information with Greenhouse recruiting because this is the tool we use for the recruitment process. - Insight Assurance does not sell personal data/information under any circumstances. - You may exercise your rights under personal data protection legislation by reaching out to us via: HR@insightassurance.com or submit a request via mail at 400 N Tampa St. 15th Floor Suite 122, Tampa, FL 33602 **Privacy Notice GDPR **_This notice informs you about the categories of Personal Data/ Information and the Purpose and Scope of Processing Activities to be undertaken by Insight Assurance (we, us, our), under its job application and recruitment process.
