## Description

**Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA)** has provided behavioral health services across California for over 40 years. We are a mission-driven organization committed to delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services while building compassionate and efficient workplaces.

IABA is seeking compassionate and motivated **Part-Time Behavior Specialists** to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their goals through individualized, evidence-based support.

The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, respect, professionalism, and a positive attitude while maintaining high standards of ethical practice.

### Schedule

-   Part-time hours (varies by case)
-   Evening and weekend availability required

### Responsibilities

-   Develop teaching protocols and train support staff on implementation
-   Participate in the implementation of individualized Behavior Support Plans
-   Design and implement integrated curriculum plans
-   Conduct field visits and provide ongoing case support
-   Complete documentation and report writing in a timely manner
-   Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
-   Perform other related duties as assigned

-   Solano County
-   San Mateo County

## Requirements

Qualifications:

-   Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
-   Strong written and verbal communication skills
-   Experience with report writing
-   Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs
-   Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviors

Requirements:

-   Reliable, operable vehicle
-   Valid California Driver’s License
-   Current auto insurance
-   First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
-   Ability to pass a Live Scan background check
-   Ability to physically assist clients when needed (e.g., transfers, mobility support)
