**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Content

## Description

**Market Research Analyst**

**Location**: Austin, TX (Hybrid. In office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)

**Role** Type: Part-Time / Internship

**Department**: Strategy and Content

### The Opportunity

We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency that works across dozens of industries, from home services and healthcare to legal and real estate. We are looking for a curious, driven Market Research Analyst to join our team on a part-time or internship basis.

This is not a passive data-entry role. You will own real research projects that directly shape the strategy and content our team uses every day. Your findings will inform how we position clients, write better copy, and win new business.

You do not need agency experience. We are looking for sharp, self-directed researchers who take pride in finding the real answer, not just the first one.

### About Intellibright

Intellibright is an award-winning digital marketing agency helping mid-market and enterprise organizations accelerate growth through Paid Media, SEO, Analytics, Website Development, Content, Social Media, and AI Visibility.

We believe marketing should be accountable to business outcomes. Our clients rely on us for strategic thinking, measurable performance, operational excellence, and innovative solutions that help them outperform competitors and achieve meaningful growth.

### Areas of Ownership

### Industry Research

- Investigate assigned industries to uncover key insights, trends, and competitive dynamics
- Identify major customer pain points, including internal challenges, marketing frustrations, and how businesses experience working with marketing agencies
- Document best practices, target customer profiles, and sensitivity considerations unique to each industry
- Surface keyword opportunities, ideal marketing channels, and strategic options including local market factors

### Persona and Demographic Research

- Build and deepen buyer personas using sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau (ACS), Pew Research Center, and industry publications
- Research demographic makeup, average budgets, income ranges, and psychographic drivers for key customer segments
- Translate raw data into clear, actionable insights that writers and strategists can apply immediately

### Local and Geographic Research

- Research neighborhoods, landmarks, and local identifiers that strengthen local SEO targeting for client campaigns
- Conduct seasonal and storm-related research to inform timely content and campaign strategies

### Deliverable and Content Research

- Research best practices for agency deliverables including case studies, press releases, and blog content
- Identify emerging formats, citation benchmarks, and audience expectations by content type

### Client Interviews and Case Studies

- Assist with gathering client quotes, testimonials, and data points to support case study development
- Support the coordination of brief client conversations or surveys

### What Success Looks Like

- Build out detailed persona and demographic profiles across multiple client industries
- Become a reliable resource for research requests across the content and strategy teams
- Deliver consistent, high-quality outputs that writers and strategists use directly

### Why This Role Matters

Good research is the foundation of everything we do at Intellibright. When we understand an industry deeply, we write better content, build smarter strategies, and win more for our clients. When we do not, everything downstream suffers.

This role exists because we take research seriously. We want someone in this seat who is genuinely curious, rigorous in their process, and proud of getting the answer right. If that is you, the work you do here will shape how we serve clients across dozens of industries.

If you are excited by the idea of becoming an expert in industries you have never worked in, and helping a real agency perform better because of what you find, we would love to meet you.

### Culture and Expectations

- Hybrid role with in-office presence required Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; Tuesday and Thursday are flexible
- Fast-moving environment with real ownership and clear expectations from day one
- Collaborative teams that value clarity, accuracy, and doing the work right
- 16+ years of profitable, self-funded growth

### Fraud Warning

Our team will only contact you through official company email addresses or phone numbers and will conduct interviews via live video. We will never ask you to send money, purchase equipment, provide gift cards, or share any financial information.

### How to Apply

Send your resume and a brief note (3 to 5 sentences is fine) explaining what draws you to research and how you approach a topic you know nothing about.

We review every application. We look forward to hearing from you.
