We are currently looking for an experienced **Yard Construction Manager (YCM)** to lead and coordinate construction and fabrication activities at the yard, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, quality requirements and schedule.

Reporting to the **Yard Manager**, the Yard Construction Manager will be responsible for leading the Yard Supervision team and acting as the primary on-site interface between the **CLIENT, Engineering, Construction Contractor and MODYARD Management**.

Key responsibilities include:

-   Lead and manage the entire Yard Supervision team, including **HSE, QA/QC, Planning, Construction, Materials, Preservation, Contract Engineering and Project Services**.
-   Act as the primary on-site interface between the CLIENT, Engineering, Construction Contractor and MODYARD Management for all construction, quality, safety and schedule matters.
-   Oversee all fabrication activities performed by the Construction Contractor, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, procedures, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and the project schedule.
-   Ensure full compliance with **HSE requirements**, promoting a strong safety culture and supervising high-risk activities, ensuring that appropriate **Permits to Work (PTW)** and risk assessments are in place at all times.
-   Supervise **QA/QC implementation** at MODYARD level, monitoring inspections, testing, welding quality, NDT, dimensional controls and the management and mitigation of non-conformances.
-   Ensure the correct receipt, storage, handling and preservation of all materials, equipment and **CPI** throughout fabrication, pre-commissioning and readiness for shipment.
-   Manage **Change Requests** related to yard activities, assessing their impact and coordinating approved changes with project stakeholders in accordance with the CLIENT's **Management of Change** procedure.
-   Maintain regular reporting and progress control, including **Earned Value monitoring**, ensuring transparent and timely communication with the CLIENT Project Team.
-   Support **load-out planning and execution**, coordinating with the **Marine Warranty Surveyor** and logistics teams to ensure safe and compliant module shipment operations.

## Requirements

-   Technical degree or university qualification, preferably in **Industrial, Mechanical, Naval, Civil Engineering** or a related discipline.
-   Proven experience in **Construction Management / Yard Management** roles, preferably within industrial, offshore, naval, Oil & Gas or similar projects.
-   Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary supervision teams and coordinating different technical disciplines.
-   Previous experience supervising fabrication and construction activities in a shipyard or industrial yard environment.
-   Strong knowledge of **HSE, QA/QC, planning, progress control and change management**.
-   Experience with welding activities, NDT, dimensional control and non-conformance management.
-   Experience in **load-out and module transportation operations** will be considered an advantage.
-   Strong ability to act as an interface between the client, engineering teams, contractors and project management.
-   Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
-   Professional level of **English**.
-   Willingness to work in a shipyard environment and travel when required by the project.
