We are currently looking for an experienced **Construction Coordinator** to coordinate and supervise construction activities across multiple disciplines, ensuring consistent execution, effective interfaces and compliance with project requirements, safety standards and schedule.

Job Description

The Construction Coordinator will act as the overall **construction focal point for the ORT**, coordinating the activities of Construction Supervisors across disciplines and ensuring the efficient and consistent execution of construction activities at MODYARD.

Key responsibilities include:

-   Act as the overall **construction focal point for the ORT**, coordinating and supervising the activities of all Construction Supervisors across disciplines, including **Piping/Mechanical, Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E), and Steel Structure**.
-   Ensure consistent and coordinated execution of construction activities across all disciplines.
-   Plan, coordinate and monitor **daily construction activities**, ensuring that works are carried out safely and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures and the project schedule.
-   Ensure effective interface and coordination between **Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Field Engineering and MODYARD Management**.
-   Identify and resolve operational issues, interface constraints and potential sequencing conflicts between construction disciplines.
-   Monitor **construction progress, productivity and workfront availability**, providing timely input to planning and project reporting.
-   Support the identification and implementation of **recovery actions** when schedule deviations or productivity issues are identified.
-   Coordinate with Construction Supervisors to ensure that workfronts are properly prepared, resources are effectively deployed and activities are executed according to the planned sequence.
-   Support the preparation and execution of **system handover, Mechanical Completion and readiness for testing and shipment**.
-   Ensure Construction Supervisors provide **complete and accurate construction records**, documentation and punch list status required for system handover and project close-out.
-   Coordinate the timely **close-out of punch list items**, ensuring that outstanding construction activities are properly tracked and resolved.
-   Maintain effective communication with the Yard Construction Manager and other project stakeholders regarding construction progress, constraints, risks and required actions.

## Requirements

-   University degree or technical qualification in **Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering** or a related discipline.
-   Proven experience in **Construction Coordination / Construction Supervision** roles within industrial, offshore, naval, Oil & Gas, EPC or similar projects.
-   Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction activities, preferably covering **Piping/Mechanical, I&E and Steel Structure**.
-   Previous experience working in a **shipyard, fabrication yard or industrial construction environment**.
-   Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, workfront management and interface coordination.
-   Experience monitoring **construction progress, productivity and schedule performance**.
-   Knowledge of **Mechanical Completion, system handover, punch list management and readiness for testing**.
-   Ability to coordinate effectively with **QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Engineering and project management teams**.
-   Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and resolve operational issues.
-   Professional level of **English**.
-   Ability to work in a demanding, multidisciplinary and international project environment.
