We are currently looking for an experienced **QC Coordinator** to lead and coordinate all Quality Control activities at the MODYARD, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and the project's Quality Management System.

Job Description

Reporting to the **Yard Construction Manager**, the QC Coordinator will be responsible for managing and overseeing all QA/QC activities at MODYARD level, ensuring that quality requirements are effectively implemented throughout the fabrication and construction process.

Key responsibilities include:

-   Manage and oversee all **QA/QC activities at MODYARD**, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, including **ASME, EN, ISO and GB Standards**, as well as QMS requirements.
-   Develop, implement and maintain **QA/QC Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)** and all quality documentation applicable.
-   Lead, coordinate and supervise all **QC Inspectors across disciplines**, assigning inspection responsibilities in line with the ITP hold and witness point schedule.
-   Manage **Hold Points, Witness Points, inspection release processes and quality acceptance** for all module systems.
-   Oversee **welding quality, NDT programmes, inspections, pressure testing, audits and corrective/preventive actions**.
-   Lead and conduct **internal quality audits** in accordance with the Project Quality Plan, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures, standards and quality requirements, and coordinating the follow-up and close-out of audit findings.
-   Manage the issuance, tracking and formal close-out of **Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)**, maintaining a live NCR register updated on a weekly basis.
-   Ensure that **CE Marking compliance activities**, including requirements related to the **Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)** and **Machinery Directive**, are fully integrated into the QA/QC programme.
-   Oversee the compilation, progressive population and formal delivery of the **Manufacturing Record Book (MRB)** for each module.
-   Ensure effective coordination between QC, Construction, Engineering, Planning and other project disciplines to resolve quality issues and maintain project progress.
-   Provide regular quality reporting and communicate significant quality issues, trends and risks to the Yard Construction Manager and project management team.

## Requirements

-   University degree or technical qualification in **Engineering, Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering** or a related discipline.
-   Proven experience in **Quality Control / QA-QC Coordination** roles within industrial, offshore, naval, Oil & Gas, EPC or similar projects.
-   Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary **QC inspection teams** in a fabrication or construction environment.
-   Strong knowledge of applicable international codes and standards, particularly **ASME, EN and ISO**. Knowledge of **GB Standards** will be considered an advantage.
-   Solid experience with **Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Hold/Witness Points, inspection release and quality documentation**.
-   Experience with **welding inspection, NDT, pressure testing and fabrication quality control**.
-   Experience managing **NCRs, corrective/preventive actions and quality audits**.
-   Knowledge of **CE Marking requirements**, including the **PED and Machinery Directive**, is highly desirable.
-   Experience with **Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs)** and final quality dossiers.
-   Strong organisational, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary inspection teams.
-   Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, engineering teams and project management.
-   Professional level of **English**.
-   Ability to work in a demanding, multidisciplinary and international project environment.
