## Description

We are looking for a **Deputy Manager – Warehouse** to support and oversee efficient warehouse and inventory operations. The role will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring proper material handling and storage, optimizing warehouse space, maintaining ERP accuracy, and ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in **warehouse management, inventory control, material handling, ERP systems, and team supervision**, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

### Responsibilities

-   Support and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, picking, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
-   Ensure proper receiving, identification, storage, handling, and movement of materials within the warehouse.
-   Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and investigation of stock variances.
-   Ensure timely and accurate issuance of materials to Production, Projects, Retail, and other relevant departments.
-   Monitor finished goods storage and dispatch activities to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
-   Ensure all warehouse transactions, including receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and dispatches, are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
-   Monitor stock levels and identify damaged, slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.
-   Ensure proper warehouse layout, space utilization, storage practices, and material flow.
-   Supervise warehouse activities and ensure smooth coordination among warehouse teams and relevant departments.
-   Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Production, Projects, Retail, Sales, and Finance to ensure smooth material availability and movement.
-   Monitor warehouse productivity and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
-   Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, 5S practices, safety standards, and company policies.
-   Lead, supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to improve productivity and operational discipline.
-   Monitor key warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, picking and dispatch accuracy, productivity, stock variances, cycle count compliance, and space utilization.
-   Prepare regular warehouse performance reports and highlight operational issues and improvement areas to management.
-   Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
-   MBA/Master’s degree will be an advantage.
-   **6–8 years of relevant experience** in warehouse, inventory, and material management.
-   At least **2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role**.
-   Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
-   Strong hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, stock reconciliation, and material handling.
-   Working knowledge of **ERP/WMS systems** and warehouse-related transactions.
-   Experience in supervising and managing warehouse teams.
-   Good understanding of warehouse KPIs, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, stock control, and space utilization.
-   Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
-   Good communication and reporting skills.
-   Knowledge of warehouse SOPs, 5S, safety practices, and operational controls.
-   Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment and coordinate with multiple departments.
