## Description

To ensure product quality at all stages including raw material receiving, in-process manufacturing, and final inspection. The role is responsible for upholding Interwood’s quality standards and customer specifications through effective inspection, reporting, and coordination with production and QA teams.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

1.  **Conduct in-process and final inspections** on the shop floor to verify product quality against approved drawings, material specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2.  **Review engineering and production drawings** to identify critical dimensions and tolerances and ensure inspections are aligned with those technical standards.
3.  **Identify and report non-conformities** during inspections, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with relevant stakeholders.
4.  **Maintain comprehensive inspection reports, checklists, and quality control documents** in line with company protocols and audit requirements.
5.  **Ensure accurate use of measuring instruments**, verify calibration status before use, and promptly report any discrepancies to supervisors.
6.  **Coordinate with Deputy Manager QC, QC Inspectors, and production teams** to ensure timely resolution of quality issues and actively participate in process improvement activities.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Wood Technology or related discipline)
-   BBA /MBA /MS TQM /MS Quality /MS QMS
-   1–2 years of experience in a quality control/inspection role, preferably in wood or furniture manufacturing
-   Understanding of basic QC principles and visual/dimensional inspection techniques
-   Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
-   Familiarity with woodworking materials like MDF, solid wood, veneer, etc.
-   Experience with measurement tools (vernier caliper, measuring tape, gauges, etc.)
-   Basic knowledge of CAPA, NCR, and inspection report documentation
