# Software Engineer - Network Management Systems

## Description

The successful candidate will be **based in our Athens' headquarters or in our subsidiaries in Patras or Thessaloniki**, and be involved in the design, development and support of our Network Management System software – managing our innovative packet microwave and millimeter-wave radio systems - used in front-haul and mobile backhaul transport of 5G networks, as well as in Fixed Wireless Access broadband systems.

## Requirements

-   University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/ Informatics or Computer Science
-   Very good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
-   Very good knowledge of JAVA, SQL.
-   Fluency in English

**Any or more of the following skills are desired**

-   Experience with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle.
-   Good working knowledge of Linux
-   Basic knowledge in Telecommunications / Networking
-   Knowledge of Kubernetes Container Orchestration Platform and Microservices Architecture
-   Knowledge of Version Control (GIT)
-   Knowledge in software engineering tools (e.g. Eclipse, Apache Ant, Maven)
-   Knowledge of Web Development (e.g. Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap)
-   Knowledge of Wildfly Application Server
-   Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Selenium, Test Frameworks, Python
