**The team you will be part of**

The Digital Marketing Team is the engine behind data-driven growth for our brand partners across Southeast Asia’s eCommerce landscape. Specializing in performance marketing across marketplaces like Shopee, Lazada & TikTok, we focus on the entire 360-degree customer journey and build better digital experiences at each stage of the funnel. From media planning to real-time optimization and analytics on Meta, Google & Programmatic, the team partners closely with clients to unlock the full potential of eCommerce marketing—turning insights into action, and clicks into conversions.

**The part you will play**

We are looking for an experienced **Email Marketing Specialist** to own the end-to-end email marketing function—from strategy and planning to execution, optimization, automation, and performance reporting. This role will be responsible for driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue through data-driven email campaigns and lifecycle marketing.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, audience segmentation, A/B testing, campaign analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. Marketing Services include paid performance marketing, e-commerce platform ads, and social commerce for our clients.

**As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will take charge of:** 

**1\. Email Marketing Strategy**

-   Develop and execute the overall email marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
-   Build customer lifecycle programs across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, reactivation, and loyalty.
-   Create monthly and quarterly email marketing calendars.
-   Recommend strategies to improve customer lifetime value (CLV), repeat purchases, and customer retention.

**2\. Campaign Planning & Execution**

-   Plan, build, QA, schedule, and launch email campaigns.
-   Manage promotional, transactional, newsletter, product launch, seasonal, and automated campaigns.
-   Coordinate campaign timelines with marketing, creative, product, and commercial teams.
-   Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule.

**3\. CRM & Marketing Automation**

-   Build and optimize automated customer journeys.
-   Develop lifecycle workflows, including:

-   Welcome series
-   Abandoned cart
-   Browse abandonment
-   Post-purchase
-   Win-back campaigns
-   Loyalty campaigns
-   Birthday and anniversary campaigns
-   Replenishment reminders

-   Maintain CRM data quality and automation performance.

**4\. Audience Management & Segmentation**

-   Create customer segments based on:

-   Purchase behavior
-   Customer value
-   Engagement
-   Product interest
-   Demographics
-   Lifecycle stage

-   Personalize email content using dynamic content and customer attributes.
-   Maintain subscriber health and list hygiene.

**5\. Content & Creative Coordination**

-   Develop email briefs for designers and copywriters.
-   Ensure all emails align with brand guidelines.
-   Review email copy, subject lines, CTAs, and layouts.
-   Optimize emails for desktop and mobile experiences.

**6\. Testing & Optimization**

-   Execute A/B and multivariate testing on:

-   Subject lines
-   Send times
-   Email content
-   CTAs
-   Layouts
-   Personalization
-   Offers

-   Analyze results and implement continuous improvements.

**7\. Analytics & Reporting**

-   Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
-   Track key metrics including:

-   Open Rate
-   Click-Through Rate (CTR)
-   Click-to-Open Rate (CTOR)
-   Conversion Rate
-   Revenue per Email
-   Email-attributed Revenue
-   Unsubscribe Rate
-   Bounce Rate
-   Spam Complaint Rate

-   Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
-   Present optimization recommendations to stakeholders.

**8\. Deliverability & Compliance**

-   Monitor email deliverability and sender reputation.
-   Maintain email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) in partnership with technical teams.
-   Ensure compliance with privacy and email regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, local data privacy laws).
-   Manage suppression lists and unsubscribe processes.

**9\. Cross-functional Collaboration**

-   Work closely with: Marketing, E-commerce, CRM, Product, Sales, Creative, Data Analytics, IT
-   Align email campaigns with integrated marketing initiatives.

**10\. Platform Management**

-   Manage email marketing platforms and CRM systems.
-   Maintain templates, assets, workflows, and audience databases.
-   Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and performance.

**What we are looking for - the ideal profile**

-   Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
-   3–5+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing.
-   Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Braze, Iterable, Adobe Campaign).
-   Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and marketing automation.
-   Experience with audience segmentation and personalization.
-   Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent project management and organizational skills.
-   Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

**Preferred**

-   Experience in e-commerce or retail.
-   Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email editing.
-   Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), CRM reporting, and BI tools.
-   Experience with APIs, CDPs, or customer data integrations.
-   Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
