## Description

We are looking for **AS/400 Back-End Software Engineers across Junior, Mid, and Senior levels** to develop and maintain core business applications running on the **IBM i (AS/400) platform**.

The role focuses on enterprise systems, batch processing, integrations, data management, and modernization using technologies including **COBOL, RPG, CL, and Db2 for i**.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Develop and maintain applications on **IBM i / AS/400**
-   Develop and enhance programs using **COBOL, RPG, and CL**
-   Build interfaces and integrations with internal and external systems
-   Develop database components using **Db2 for AS/400**
-   Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks
-   Support batch operations, deployments, and production releases
-   Participate in application modernization initiatives
-   Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and engineering teams
-   Maintain technical and operational documentation

## Requirements

-   Professional IBM i / AS/400 development experience appropriate to the seniority level
-   Experience with **COBOL**
-   Experience with **RPG III / RPG IV / ILE RPG / Free-Format RPG**
-   Knowledge of **CL (Control Language)**
-   Experience with **Db2 for AS/400 and Embedded SQL**
-   Knowledge of DDS
-   Experience with IBM Rational Developer or equivalent tools
-   Understanding of batch processing and job scheduling
-   Experience with AI-assisted software development and **Specification-Driven Development practices**
-   Proficiency in **Greek and English**

**Seniority levels:** Junior: 1+ years | Mid: 3+ years | Senior: 5+ years. Senior profiles should bring strong IBM i architecture, optimization, integration, modernization, and technical leadership experience.
