## Description

We are looking for an experienced **Senior Test Automation Engineer** to design, implement, and manage comprehensive testing strategies for complex software solutions.

In this role, you will work across **functional and non-functional testing, test automation, performance testing, and DevSecOps**, ensuring high standards of software quality throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Analyze business processes, functional and non-functional requirements, high-level designs, and software documentation
-   Define and implement **test plans, test approaches, and test strategies**
-   Design and execute test cases, test suites, and test data for functional and non-functional testing
-   Design, develop, and maintain **reusable automated test scripts**
-   Evaluate and select appropriate test automation tools and technologies
-   Set up and maintain test environments
-   Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze results
-   Report defects and issues using **DevOps tools**
-   Support investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of identified issues
-   Implement automated test reporting and metrics collection
-   Perform and support **performance testing**
-   Prepare and present detailed test reports
-   Apply testing practices within **DevSecOps and CI/CD environments**
-   Lead testing-related discussions and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

## Requirements

-   **Minimum 5 years of professional experience in test planning, preparation, execution, monitoring, and control**
-   **5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or in a similar role**
-   University degree with at least **5 years of IT experience**, or non-university degree with at least **8 years of IT experience**
-   Advanced understanding of the **Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)**
-   Strong experience defining test strategies for software systems and components
-   Advanced knowledge of **functional and non-functional testing**, including performance, configuration, usability, data migration, and compatibility testing
-   Strong experience with **test management and automation tools**
-   Hands-on experience with test automation technologies such as **Microsoft Playwright**
-   Experience with **API testing and CI/CD**
-   Experience with scripting languages such as **PowerShell, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript**
-   Experience with performance testing tools
-   Experience with model-based and/or low-code test automation approaches
-   Experience with requirements analysis, test design, defect analysis, and test reporting
-   Experience with software-testing risk assessment and management
-   Experience troubleshooting web applications using browser developer tools and tools such as **Fiddler**
-   Understanding of relevant enterprise technologies such as **.NET, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, MSSQL, GIS, Power BI, Docker, Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or ADFS**
-   Strong communication, documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
-   Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
-   **ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent is mandatory**

### **Nice to Have**

-   Advanced knowledge of **SQL and data technologies**
-   Knowledge of automated vulnerability scanning and security checks integrated into CI/CD
-   Experience with **AI-assisted, model-based, or low-code test automation**
-   ISTQB Test Analyst certification or equivalent
-   ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification or equivalent
-   Other relevant testing or technology certifications
