**Who you are:**

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with a hunter mentality and a passion for generating new business opportunities. In this role, you'll be responsible for building pipeline primarily across the DACH region, while also supporting opportunities across EMEA, ME&A, and APAC.

You'll engage enterprise-level organizations, build relationships with security and technology leaders, uncover business challenges, and position Invicti's industry-leading application security solutions to help organizations secure their web applications and APIs.

**What You’ll Be Doing:**  

-   Prospecting & Pipeline Generation:  
    Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other creative channels. While your primary focus will be the DACH market, you'll also support opportunities across broader international territories.
-   Discovery & Relationship Building:  
    Engage with IT, security, development, and risk leaders to understand their priorities, challenges, and application security initiatives.
-   Value-Based Conversations:  
    Communicate Invicti's value proposition, including proof-based vulnerability validation, DAST, API security, ASPM capabilities, and runtime intelligence, in a way that resonates with both technical and business stakeholders.
-   Opportunity Qualification & Handoff:  
    Identify qualified opportunities and collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth transitions and successful sales engagement.
-   Performance & Execution:  
    Consistently achieve and exceed activity, meeting, pipeline, and revenue influence targets while maintaining a high standard of prospecting quality.
-   Continuous Learning:  
    Stay informed on application security trends, emerging threats, competitive solutions, and industry developments to maintain relevant and impactful customer conversations.

## Requirements

**What We Want From You:**

-   Professional fluency in German and English is required. You can confidently conduct prospecting, discovery conversations, and written outreach in both languages.
-   We're looking for someone who is ambitious, coachable, and eager to build a successful career in cybersecurity sales.
-   Proactive Prospecting Mindset  
    You are comfortable initiating conversations, navigating large organizations, and engaging senior decision-makers.
-   Relevant Experience  
    1-3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound prospecting role, ideally within SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise software. Experience selling or prospecting security solutions is a strong advantage.
-   Strong Communication Skills  
    You can write effective outbound messaging, engage executives professionally, and simplify complex technical concepts.
-   Resilience & Coachability  
    You handle rejection professionally, seek feedback, and continuously improve your approach.
-   Business Curiosity  
    You enjoy understanding customer challenges, business drivers, and the impact security has on organizational success.
-   Technical & Tool Proficiency  
    Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting and CRM tools is preferred.
-   Team-Oriented Competitor  
    You are motivated by achieving goals, contributing to team success, and learning from those around you.
