## Description

As part of our peak season and upcoming recruitment requirements, we are building a talent pool for contract and/or permanent opportunities.

While our primary focus is Cape Town, we welcome applications from qualified candidates across South Africa, including those open to relocation.

We are looking for a reliable, responsible and hands-on Driver to transport commercial catering and food service equipment safely and efficiently.

The role is primarily focused on deliveries, collections, loading and offloading equipment, while ensuring a professional service to customers and supporting daily logistics operations.

-   **Location:** Cape Town, Western Cape
-   **Model:** On-site **\[**Monday to Thursday (08:00 - 16:30) & Friday (08:00 - 16:00)\]

### Responsibilities

**Driving & Deliveries (Primary)**

-   Transport catering and food service equipment to and from customer locations.
-   Load and offload equipment, ensuring goods are handled carefully and secured correctly.
-   Complete deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and on time.
-   Plan delivery routes and monitor traffic conditions to avoid unnecessary delays.
-   Provide professional and friendly service when dealing with customers.
-   Communicate delivery progress, delays or issues to the Logistics Coordinator.

**Vehicle Safety & Maintenance**

-   Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, following traffic laws and speed limits.
-   Conduct routine vehicle checks, including oil, tyres, fuel, lights and general condition.
-   Report vehicle faults, damage or maintenance requirements promptly.
-   Keep company vehicles clean, organised and in good working condition.
-   Ensure relevant licences and permits remain valid and up to date.
-   Follow company safety procedures when driving, loading and offloading equipment.

**Delivery Administration & Logistics Support**

-   Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
-   Ensure delivery notes, invoices and other relevant documentation are completed and submitted.
-   Assist with loading, offloading and handling equipment when required.
-   Work closely with the Logistics team to ensure smooth daily operations.
-   Provide additional operational support when required.

## Requirements

### Minimum Requirements

-   Grade 12 / Matric.
-   At least 2 years' experience in a similar driving or delivery role.
-   Valid South African driver's licence with a clean driving record.
-   Good knowledge of road safety, traffic laws and basic vehicle maintenance.
-   Ability to safely lift, move and handle heavy equipment.
-   Experience transporting commercial catering or food service equipment will be advantageous.
