## Description

Ironclad & Co. is seeking dedicated Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technicians to support our eye care professionals by performing a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and provide compassionate patient care while ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results.

**Responsibilities**

-   Perform ophthalmic diagnostic tests including visual field testing, optical coherence tomography (OCT), tonometry, pachymetry, and retinal imaging
-   Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and explain tests clearly
-   Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy
-   Document and report test results to ophthalmologists for diagnosis and treatment planning
-   Maintain patient records and comply with healthcare privacy standards

**Requirements**

-   Previous experience as an ophthalmic or ophthalmology technician
-   Knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and techniques
-   Strong attention to detail and ability to obtain accurate results
-   Excellent communication and patient care skills
-   Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic health record (EHR) systems
