We are seeking an experienced **Outbound Sales Team Lead** to lead a newly established remote sales team supporting a U.S.-based financial services client.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coach, motivate, and develop a team of outbound sales agents responsible for converting prospects into completed online applications. While the U.S.-based sales team closes the deals, your team's success will be measured by activity levels, application conversions, and overall sales performance.

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader who thrives in a target-driven environment and knows how to build a high-performing outbound sales team.

**PLEASE NOTE:**

-   **Working Hours:** Monday – Friday, 09:00 am – 6:00 pm EST (15:00 pm – 00:00 am OR 16:00 pm – 01:00 am South African Time, depending on U.S. daylight savings).
-   **Public Holidays**: You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays. Compensation for South African public holidays will be provided in accordance with the BCEA. 
-   **Internet Requirements:** A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) is mandatory.   
    A wired Ethernet connection is required. Candidates without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered. 
-   **Power Backup:**  A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding or outages. Candidates without backup power cannot be considered. 
-   **Work Environment:** Fully remote. 
-   This role offers a competitive basic salary plus an attractive commission structure.

**What the Role involves:**

-   Lead, coach, and motivate a team of outbound sales agents.
-   Monitor daily call activity, productivity, and conversion performance.
-   Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews.
-   Listen to call recordings and provide actionable feedback.
-   Ensure agents consistently meet quality and activity standards.
-   Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of new team members.
-   Work closely with the U.S. client to communicate performance metrics and operational updates.
-   dentify coaching opportunities and implement performance improvement plans where required.
-   Foster a positive, competitive, and results-driven team culture.
-   Produce reports on team KPIs and conversion metrics.

**Essential:**

-   Minimum 3 years' outbound sales experience.
-   Minimum 2 years' experience leading or supervising an outbound sales team.
-   Demonstrated success managing KPIs, coaching agents, and improving performance.
-   Strong understanding of outbound sales methodologies and objection handling.
-   Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
-   Experience working with CRM platforms and sales reporting.
-   Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
-   Previous financial services, lending, insurance, or related industry experience is highly advantageous.
