## Description

**ISTA Personnel Solutions** is a dynamic and fast-growing BPO company. We are not a recruitment agency. We operate as a dedicated extension of our clients’ teams, providing high-quality operational support to U.S.-based businesses.

We are looking for a **Recruiter Specialist** to join the team of a growing U.S.-based ABA Therapy company operating across multiple states, with plans for further expansion.

As a Recruiter Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from initial candidate engagement through to hiring. You’ll primarily recruit **Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)**, with the opportunity to eventually expand into recruiting **Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)**.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, naturally personable, and able to quickly build rapport while assessing whether a candidate is the right fit.

**PLEASE NOTE:**

-   **Working Hours:** Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM South African time – subject to daylight savings.
-   **Public Holidays:** This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
-   **Internet Requirements:** A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
-   **Power Backup:** Reliable backup required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
-   **Work Environment:** Fully remote.

**Job Responsibilities:**

-   Manage and maintain recruitment advertisements, primarily through Indeed.
-   Review incoming applications and resumes to identify suitable candidates.
-   Contact candidates by phone to discuss opportunities and assess their suitability.
-   Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate candidates against role requirements.
-   Build strong rapport with candidates and create a positive candidate experience.
-   Identify qualified candidates and progress successful applicants through the hiring process.
-   Use strong judgment and emotional intelligence to quickly understand candidates and assess their fit.
-   Follow established recruitment guidelines and processes while bringing your own personality and approach to candidate interactions.
-   Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment information.
-   Work closely with the client’s leadership team throughout the recruitment process.
-   Recruit RBTs initially, with the potential to take on BCBA recruitment as the business grows.

## Requirements

**Industry Experience:**

-   ABA experience is a plus, but not essential.
-   Previous experience as a Recruiter in the healthcare industry.
-   Psychology background might also be advantageous.

**Soft Skills (Essential):**

-   Excellent English communication and fluency.
-   High emotional intelligence and strong intuition.
-   Friendly, patient, and empathetic personality.
-   Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to move quickly when needed.
-   Able to quickly read and understand different personalities.
-   Able to follow processes and guidelines while still having a natural, conversational approach.

**Technical Skills:**

-   Good general computer literacy.
-   Comfortable working across multiple systems and digital platforms.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
-   Experience with ATS or recruitment platforms is advantageous.
-   No advanced Excel skills required.
